[[Hoodwink]], [[Soren]], [[Toto Grimn]], [[KD6-3.7]] and [[Ra-Zekou]] arrive in the destroyed town of [[Brunvik]]. There they discover the grave of the [[Day-Crows and Night Crows]] [[Alfonhild]]. [[Hoodwink]] speaks to her corpse and it informs them that the people of [[Brunvik]] have traveled east towards [[Frostvik]]. [[KD6-3.7]] discovers [[Sigrid Himgard]] who is traded in a collapsed hut. She has lost her mother [[Yilda Himgard]]. [[Sigrid Himgard]] forms an atachement to [[KD6-3.7]]. The party are attacked by a herd of rhinoceros. during the combat [[Calderyn (The Red Dragon)]] (who is still injured) and [[Scratch Greyember]] assist them. The part heal [[Calderyn (The Red Dragon)]]. [[Poke Firetooth]] exchanges his magical sword for [[Sigrid Himgard|Sigrid's]] [[The Dragon Tome|childeren's book about dragons]]. The party leave [[Brunvik]] heading east following the villagers.
