[[Staiger Ren]], [[Wixton Quillbit]], [[Faolin]], and [[Hoodwink]] arrive back at the [[Teleport Towers|tower]] near [[Marsh Meadow]]. They find that it has been attacked by [[Thesis]]. [[Mimmin Flickerboot]] has been badly injured. The party find a ransom note explaining that [[Thesis]] has abducted [[Byton Mawl]]. These demands a meeting on the [[1353-04-13]]. [[Staiger Ren]], [[Wixton Quillbit]], [[Faolin]], [[Hoodwink]] and [[Mimmin Flickerboot]] travel to [[Darth]]. There [[Staiger Ren]] meets [[Leigh Ravenscroft]] who gives him a map to more [[The Painted Druids]] circles. [[Hoodwink]] meets up with her cousin [[Gimble]] who lets the party stay at the [[The Night Hollow]]. [[Mimmin Flickerboot]] meets up with [[Feya]] who offers him a job to smuggle a package to [[Cannon's Reach]]. [[Faolin]] discovers an [[Elf]] hide and learns that [[Captain Whin]] has been taken into custody by the authorities.
