The mists are an unnatural phenomenon which occurs as a byproduct of the earth magic used to lift large portions of earth into the sky. These mists surround [[Cloudmare & Ashmare]], [[The Floating Island]] and other such places. The mists manifest spirit creatures which are aggressive to those who wander through them. They also shift the land beneath them except along special paths made of small glowing organisms that are suspended in the mists.
