## Overview
Darth holds its place among the four great cities of the western realm. These are: Grey Hall home to the magical universities of the Western Realm, Chiton built into the cold mountains of the Nordwall, The husk of Falcon Thull, the great burnt city and finally Darth, the realms center of trade and commerce.
The City of Darth lies at the center of the western realm at the point where the [[Etten Rushing]] Flows into the Great Fenway on its course to [[The Winedark Sea]] in the West. Although situated in the wide plateau of the [[The Shards of Fen]], South of [[The Nordwaal Mountains]] and to the North of the massive [[Seaker Woods]], the landscape just at the point of the city has been carved by great fissures into a set of huge terasses. This results a number of points along the river’s path where it tumbles over cliff faces before continuing is course though the city. Darth is situated centrally, making it a perfect trade hub and may ships travel the wide rivers to its ports. These ships are lifted by huge cranes up and down the cliff sides to facilitate their journey along the river courses.

## Flavour
#### Arriving in Darth via the [[Teleport Towers|teleport towner]]
(behind one of [[The Fenway]] river waterfalls)
*You step through the sphere onto the top of a tower, fully enclosed within a vast cavern, booming with the sound of crashing water. One side of the massive cavern is closed in by a sheet of falling water. Light filters through this sheet, bathing the cavern in a dull aqua glow. As you stare out at the sheet, a massive dark shape passes slowly upwards, casting a huge shadow at least 6 meters high and twice that in length onto the waterfall.*
*The base of the tower is submerged in water, but a window has been removed and stone bridge has been built to the side of the cavern. This leads to a small tunnel, the end of which opens out into daylight. Following this you exit out behind some well hidden rocks and into an out of the way alley between tall buildings of this city. As you leave these and look back from where you came you see cliff face easily twenty meters high. Amidst the din of crashing water and city sounds, dock workers call out to one another as Massive wooden cranes lift an enormous trade ship up the side of a waterfall which tumbles over the cliff edge.*
