In the ocean off of [[The Ayre Peninsular]] is a swath of sea that is shrouded in blue [[The Mists|Mist]]. In the centre of this mist is a floating island. A column of molten rock is continuously drawn up out of the water into the base of a huge floating disk of rock. The rock floats a kilometre in the air and is is at least a kilometre end to end. It is slowly spinning and tilted slightly to one side. The surface of the island is sparse. It appears to be a mostly flat disk, rocky in texture and tilted over at about 20 degrees. Spars patchy grass clings to the surface which is broken periodically by deep fissures in the rock. Small, intricate, brittle formations reach up out most of the rocks. In the distance, at the centerer of the floating island, you see a complex of buildings, the centre most one supporting a huge domed roof.
