Frostvik is a small [[Northern Hillmen]] settlement built on a island in the center of the [[The Faynewood Flowing]] river as it emerges from [[The Faynewood]] forrest. It is a hub for traveling hillmen as it runs ferries across the river but also downstream heading north. There is a fair bit of trade that goes on here and to serve this they have [[The Great Trade Hall of Frostvik]]. ![[Image - Map - Frostvik.png]] *Flavor* *The valley of [[The Faynewood Flowing]] river broadens out into gentle slopes as the river emerges from the trees. Straining your eyes against the snow-glare you make out the village [[Frostvik]] which straddles both sides of the river as well as a large island in the center of its course. Bridges connect the east bank to the the island and then to the west bank, but there are also a number of operating ferries trudging carefully across the icy water. huddled around the perimeter of the village are a large number of makeshift dwelling, tents and lean-tos, and you see the beleaguered figures of may refugee [[Northern Hillmen]] and even some [[Gnoll]] packs.*
